I was fortunate enough to catch a couple of very outstanding classical music concerts in Vienna which is generally thought of as the center of the classical era. Many musical artists and venues are closed in July and August for vacations, so I barely made it on the last 2 nights in June. Unfortunately, I was unable to record during the 2 concerts I attended because they asked us not to, but at least I got a picture of the musicians after the performance and some very impressive images of the churches where they were held.
The following images are from the 2 concerts. The first is a 4-person strings ensemble performing works of Mozart, Vivaldi and Bach. This was performed in St. Peter’s Church. The second is a 9-person strings and harpsichord ensemble with a featured violinist. They performed Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Additional images of the 2 churches can be seen on Vienna Gallery page.
