Here are a few pictures from Bordeaux and St. Emelion. This area of France is the primary wine producing region of France. I’ve included a few pictures from St. Emelion which is a major producer of Merlot wines. The town is small, but the countryside all around is nothing but merlot grape vineyards. The town itself has a population of 300 inhabitants with 75 wine producers. So, it is all about Merlot wines in St. Emelion. I did a private guided tour of one of the wineries in St. Emelion along with the original chateaux which included the entire process from the vinyard to the bottle.
