June, 2026

I arrived in Paris on the first day of June, and visited the Eiffel Tower that same night. Here are a few of my favorite pictures. I’ve also added a few pictures from the Palace of Versailles from Wednesday and Notre Dame on Thursday of the same week, along with a few shots of notable art pieces from the Louvre and Orsay museums. And to close out this too short visit, I’ve added a few shots from Montmartre, the highest point in Paris with the Sacred Coeur Basilica at the top of the hill, and along with a shot of the Army Museum where Napoleon’s tomb is displayed. I’ll have more of the less touristy sites when I return in August.

I have continued my tour of France and now have pictures from other regions. Here are some of my favorite pictures from Lyon, Normandy, the Loire Valley and Bordeaux. I’ve also added pictures from Nice and the French Riviera from an earlier trip last year.
