I only spent a few days in Amboise in the Loire Valley. Here are a few pictures from that trip which are mostly the castle where Leonardo de Vinci is supposedly buried. Amboise is a small city of about 14,000 inhabitants but gets quite touristy in the summer. Even with that, it had a very nice, laid back vibe. The castle (The Chateau Royale) sits right in the heart of the main square in Amboise with the entrance being just a few steps from my hotel. I’ve also added a video clip of the main square area from the castle.
